It first sucks dirt into its Clean Base automatically. It then emptys the dirt into a large bag that you are able to throw away every 60 days. This is an excellent option for those who want to keep their home clean without touching it, but need peace of mind knowing their home is free of allergens and germs.

The s9+ has improved corner cleaning capabilities, allowing it to clean closer to walls and is better in cleaning up spots. If it senses that a certain area requires special attention it will return it to the area on regular schedule. If the area is particularly filthy, the s9 will return to it with a more powerful suction until the entire mess is gone.

You can control the s9+ with the included app or using Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant (the s9+ supports both) This gives you full voice commands including the ability to start, stop, and pause. You can program the robot to start and stop its work at a specific time, or let it decide when it should return to its dock.

The s9+ does a great job on plain floors and can remove small objects like rice and larger objects, such as cereal, easily. It is also great for cleaning carpets with low piles and has a strong suction, even if the dirt compartment is stuffed. However, it does not perform as well on carpets that are thicker.

2. Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra

Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra robot vacuum and mop can sweep carpets, detect rugs, and self-clean. It is one of the hand-off robotic cleaners that are currently available. Its advanced mapping and navigation systems offer an exceptional level of maneuverability. The companion app allows users to choose from a range of cleaning configurations. It also supports third-party apps that let you monitor your home in action.

Like its predecessor, the S7 MaxV Ultra is excellent at sweeping hard floors and carpets. The app allows you to select power modes, make changes to settings, and monitor the current level of battery in the robot. The IQ Robot XL, like other Shark products, has a strong suction that is able to easily handle dust bunnies and dog hair. However, the iRobot is more durable, charges more quickly, has comparable battery power, and comes with an extensive set of features for automation that allows you to set up your home's coverage map with no-go zones.

4. Eufy 11S

The Eufy 11S is a great option for those who want an automated vacuum that can clean on their schedule but do not require smartphone or voice control. The slim model is easy to set up and maintain, and it's able to effortlessly remove dirt and dust. It's a little less impressive than the other top choices in our vacuums testing program however, it has some advantages that make it worth considering.
