1. Babyzen YOYO2

The Babyzen YOYO2 has earned itself a reputation as the ultimate light-weight buggy for city dwellers and jet-setters alike, thanks to its nimble maneuverability and fold that fits in the overhead luggage of aeroplanes. This latest version boasts independent suspension on all four wheels that is made from Hytrel elastomer to 'perfectly navigate across all types of surfaces and terrain'.

The bent fabric bassinet, base YOYO2 and 6+ months colour pack combine to create a sleek pushchair with a delicate, elegant aesthetic. The frame's weight is less than a kilogram, and is so light that you can lift it from the box with just one hand.

The hood, as an example snaps onto the YOYO2 in a calm manner. It is also machine washable at 30 degrees which helps avoid the stains that result from smushed carrot puffs and rice cakes. It can be used as a pram right from birth with the Newborn Pack or bassinet, or converted to a stroller after 6 months using the YOYO Connect additional chassis.

2. Evenflo Pivot Xplore

The Evenflo Pivot Xplore is a great choice for parents who want a stroller that can be used in a variety of ways. The Evenflo Xplore can be transformed from a stroller to an actual wagon by flipping the handle. Parents can then decide the best mode for their needs. The wagon can accommodate one or two children from 6 months to 5 years old, and it has a wide storage basket to accommodate everything you require on the go.

The Xplore also features dual canopies that move from front to back, ensuring ample sun protection for all family members. It has a smaller footprint than other wagons. This might not be suitable for long trips or naps.

The frame on the Xplore feels sturdy and solid, although it does not have as much flexibility as other wagons we tried. It is also more difficult than other wagons to fold, and it's not able to lock tight after folding. It is easy to maneuver, though, and it can fit through narrow 28-inch doors.

3. Delta Children LX Side-by-Side

This basic double stroller from Delta Children is an excellent option for parents who want a budget-friendly secondary travel single stroller pushchair. It scored high in our Strollers & Multiples Test for its weight and folded dimensions. This means it's single lightweight stroller, compact when folded, and easy to move and store in a trunk for your car. It also comes with a multi-position reclined seat and an integrated cup holder for the parent. Other key features include two large hanging storage bags as well as 360-degree front wheels that absorb shock.

It did better in our push and turn test than most of the strollers we tested, but it is nonetheless difficult to maneuver on uneven ground or through narrow doors. Its sunshades are among the most compact we tested, with only direct overhead coverage, and no windows that peek out. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 has a significantly larger canopy.

The Delta took us just over three minutes to put together using an average manual, and none of the components required tools. However, it is missing some critical features that we believe you should not compromise on for a double stroller for example, a larger basket and reclining seats that have adjustable leg rests.

4. Maxi-Cosi Zelia 2-in-1

The Zelia is Maxi-Cosi's latest pushchair and is marketed as a travel system for urban use. It is suitable from birth to around 3.5-years-old. The carrycot and seat can be easily converted with only a few clicks. It can also be used with Maxi-Cosi capsule car seats and comes with the lightweight Mico 30 infant car seat, stay-in-car base and a reversible carriage.

The seat can be reclined using one hand, and the big shopping basket makes it simple for parents to get their child in and out. This compact pushchair can handle every day bumps and doors effortlessly.

The front wheels can be locked in an forward position or let them swivel which can be helpful when crossing rough terrain. On our walk through the stony trail, we let them swivel and it did this quite well, although it seemed more bumpy than the other models in our test.

5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2

Baby Jogger is a household name for their three-wheeled, all-terrain pushchairs for jogging, but they also offer a great assortment of strollers with four wheels. City Tour 2 is their most popular model. It is easy to fold and fits easily into the trunk of a car even with a carrycot attached.

It's heavier than other strollers we've tried, but because it has rubber composite wheels it feels sturdy and well-constructed. It is easy to maneuver over various terrains and even with two kids as well as a shopping bag and other items.

The carrycot and seat both come with hoods with pull-down sun canopy extensions that are UV50+. They are showerproof and sturdy, unlike some other prams' hoods which get bounced back into toddlers' faces.

It's not a lot of storage space, but it does have a large, deep basket to hold a changing bag or plenty of groceries. You can also use it with a Baby Jogger car seat for infants up 20 lbs (car seat and adapters are sold separately). If you require a stroller that is able to be taken on the road, then the City Tour 2 is an ideal choice.

6. Nuna Mixx Next

When the Nuna Mixx first came onto the scene it stole the hearts of parents across the world. It's a frame made of aluminum that can see you through your baby's first years and beyond. It has a number of notable features, including the ability to flip the seat from parent to world-facing, a large UPF 50+ canopy that has an eye shade that flips out, a spacious basket and adjustable handlebar.

The chassis is equipped with a built-in suspension system which reduces the impact of bumpy terrain. The wheels are constructed from tough foam and minimise punctures. Our tester found it to be smooth to push and was able to maneuver it through narrow streets without difficulty.

It folds automatically and locks in just four steps. It is also able to stand and be carried by trolley for easier transport in the boot of your car or down the stairs at home. It also comes equipped with the ability to add a car seat or carrycot using the included adaptors. The brakes are one action and are colour coded. They also are compatible with flip-flops.

7. Babyzen Duet

It's also lightweight and robust. The seat can be reclined in many positions and comes with a built-in double breathable mattress that is suitable from birth.

The canopy/seat comes with two big sun visors, which can be fixed or removed. Both are UPF50+. However the toggle closure isn't great it's not as quiet as Velcro and can wake sleepy babies.

The Duet is a side-byside stroller and can be adapted to accommodate twins or other siblings (up to a maximum of 22kg per seat). It is compatible with two infant car seat and some carrycots. In twin mode seats, the seats can be positioned so that they face each one. They can also be positioned towards the parents. This should reduce sibling disputes over who gets seated with dad and mom. 8. Baby Jogger Urban Glide 2

The Thule Urban glide 2 is a great jogger for parents who love to be active. It's among the lightest running strollers that you can get for your child. It also comes with excellent safety features such as a 5-point harness as well as a safety wrist strap. It has a different type of hand brake unlike other models that are a twist.

The seat is well padded and provides a wide area to sit. However, the seat depth is smaller than that of other joggers (it's just about 10 inches") The storage bin is secured with a zipper to keep things safe. It can hold up to 10 pounds. It is enough for the majority of diaper bags.

The Urban Glide 2 isn't compatible with bassinets for infants or car seats as of yet, but you can use it from the beginning with the purchase of adapters for most seats by brands such as BOB, Graco, Combi, Evenflo, Britax, and UPPAbaby. It's easy to fold and put together in 5-10 minutes without any tools. The manual is easy to comprehend and contains multiple languages.
