Three Wheeled Buggies

Another thing to think about is the size and shape. The seat should be large enough to allow your child to feel comfortable and to allow them to lie down. Some three-wheel buggies offer an option to lie flat completely while others will only allow the parent to be facing one.

Fortunately, the majority of models come with compact folding options that allow you to take off the front wheels to create more compact storage.

Easy to Manoeuvre

One of the main benefits of a three-wheel buggy is that it is much easier to maneuver particularly with a child in the back. They are designed to ensure that the front wheels can be turned on a dime and are easy to navigate, making them ideal for challenging terrain such as cobblestones, parks as well as bumpy roads and dirt tracks.

MFM reviewer Kath tried an all-wheeler with her toddler, and she reported: "The Terrain is a joy to maneuver in rough terrain. The swivel wheel in the front was particularly helpful." I was also impressed with the way it handled kerbs when using the hand-operated break. I found it to be extremely stable when going downhill or over uneven ground."

The only drawback of this amazing maneuverability is that the three wheel buggy's bigger wheels sometimes mean that it will be difficult to maneuver in tight spaces - something to keep in mind when you live in a urban area. If this is a problem then a 4-wheeled buggy could be a better option for you.
