The front wheels can be locked in a forward position or allow them to rotate which helps when covering rough terrain. We let the front wheels to swivel on our walk along the stony path. It was able to handle this well, though it did seem to be a bit more bumpy.

It's a little heavier than other strollers that we test, however the wheels are made of rubber composite so it feels well-made and durable. It is easy to maneuver across different terrains, and even with two children as well as a shopping bag and other items.
