It's easy to push, and it is solid when navigating kerbs and woodland paths. Additionally, it's easy to fold.

1. Babyzen YOYO2

The Babyzen YOYO2 has earned itself a reputation as the most lightweight stroller, both for urban dwellers as well as jet-setters. The wagon can accommodate one or two children from 6 months old to 5 years, and it has a wide storage basket for everything you need on the go.

The Xplore also has two canopies that move from front to back, ensuring ample sun protection for all family members. It has a smaller footprint than other wagons. This isn't suitable for long journeys or naps.

The frame of the Xplore feels sturdy and solid however it doesn't have the same flex as some of the other wagons we tested. It is also more difficult to fold than some of the competition and it doesn't close tightly when folded. It is easy to move, however, and fits through narrow doors of 28 inches.

3. Delta Children LX Side by Side

This Delta Children bare-bones travel stroller is a great option for parents seeking a second stroller that's affordable. It was awarded an impressive score in our Strollers & Multiples test for weight and fold size that means it's lightweight, small when collapsed and easy to lift into a trunk of a car or closet. It also comes with an adjustable reclining seat that can be positioned in several positions as well as a parent cup holder. Other key features include 360-degree shock-absorbing front wheels as well as two large storage bags that hang from the ceiling.

In our push and turn test, it did better than most of the other cheap single pushchair strollers we tried, but it's not the most maneuverable on uneven terrain or through narrow doors. The sunshades on it were among the smallest strollers we tested. They only cover the top of the stroller and don't have windows that peek out. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 and Zoe Twin+ have significantly larger sunshades.

The Zelia is Maxi-Cosi’s newest pushchair, and is advertised as an urban travel system. It is designed to take infants from birth until around 3.5 years, converting easily between a seat and a carrycot by just a few clicks. It can be used with Maxi-Cosi capsule car seats, and comes with the light Mico 30 infant car seat, stay-in-car base and a reversible baby carriage.

It's really easy to maneuver, and the one-hand recline of the seat and the huge shopping basket make it simple for parent-tots to get the child out and in quickly. This compact pushchair can handle all day bumps and doorways with ease.

The front wheels can be locked into an forward position or let them swivel which is helpful when traversing rough terrain. We allowed the front wheels to swivel on our walk along the stony path. It handled the situation well, although it seemed slightly bumpier.

5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2

Baby Jogger is a household name for their 3-wheeler, all-terrain pushchairs for jogging, but they also make a good range of 4-wheeler strollers. City Tour 2 is their most popular model. It is simple to use and folds down small enough to fit into the car boot, even with the carrycot attached.

It's a bit heavier than other strollers that we tested but the wheels are a rubber composite so it feels well-made and durable. It's a breeze to maneuver across all types of terrain. It's also a breeze to lift even with two children and a shopping bag.

Both the seat and the carrycot come with hoods that are able to be lower to reveal a UV50and sun canopy extension. They are durable and waterproof, unlike other hoods for prams that can be blown back onto toddlers' faces.

It's not a lot of storage space, but it does have a big basket that's large enough to fit a changing bag as well as plenty of groceries. It can also be linked with the Baby Jogger single infant stroller car seat to create a traveling system for babies as big as 20 lb (car seat and adapters sold separately). The City Tour 2 is a good choice if you want to use a stroller on the go.

It also comes equipped with the ability to include a car seat or carrycot using the included adaptors. The brakes are easy to use, using a single seat stroller color coded and flip-flop friendly.

This budget-friendly pushchair is simple to use and has an excellent dual suspension. It folds using just one hand, and comes with a convenient carrying strap. It is also lightweight and sturdy. The seat can be reclined into various positions. It also comes with a built-in double breathable mattress that is suitable from birth.

The canopy/seat has two large fixed or flip-out sun visors and both are UPF50+. However the toggle closure isn't ideal it's not as quiet as Velcro and can wake sleepy babies.

The Duet is an angled stroller that can accommodate twins or siblings. (Up to 22kg per seat). It can be used with two infant car seat and some carrycots. In twin mode the seats can be facing one another or turn around and face parents, theoretically decreasing sibling disputes over who should sit with mom and dad. It comes with a massive bottle holder, gear tray snack tray, and a change mat. It also has a superior compact stand fold and automatic frame lock.

8. Baby Jogger Urban Glide 2.

The Thule Urban Glide 2 is a jogger that's ideal for parents who want to keep active. It's one of the lightest strollers that you can buy your child. It also has great safety features, including a 5-point safety harness and wrist safety straps. It also has an innovative twist hand brake that's distinct from the lever-type that is found on other models.

The seat is padded and offers a large area to sit. However the seat's depth is smaller than that of other runners (it's just 10 inches deep") The storage bin is encased with a zipper that keeps things secure. It can hold up to 10 lbs. This is enough for the majority of diaper bags.

The Urban Glide 2 isn't compatible with bassinets or infant car seats in the way it is, however you can use it from the beginning by purchasing adapters for the majority of seats made by brands like BOB, Graco, Combi, Evenflo, Britax, and UPPAbaby. It folds compactly and takes between 5 and 10 minutes to put together with no tools. The instruction manual is easy to understand and includes multiple languages.
